Mia’s parents took her to Metro Animal Hospital after they noticed blood in her stool. Tests were run and the doctors found that Mia had a GI bleed. Mia was treated and sent home with medication.

“Mia has been doing great since her ER visit. She now has some chronic GI issues that are well managed through diet. Since then, Mia has moved to a bigger
house with her three little cat brothers. She has also
helped welcome her first human sibling, Judith. I
joined the Weirdos in 2017 because of my love of cats.
We adopted two of our current babies through their page in 2019. Then in 2020 Mia got ill and I didn’t know where to go. I was pregnant and been laid off due to Covid. Thanks to the Weirdos we were able to get Mia the care she needed and quickly! ”
